Raunds PR Burial abt 1818 Sarah Litchfield *completed*
« on: Thursday 13 September 07 00:02 BST (UK) »

Hi,

William and Sarah Litchfield (nee Elkin) married in Raunds in 1817 and baptised their first child in Rushden also in 1817.

Then Sarah seems to disappear.  She was not buried in Rushden.  If anybody has access to the Pr could they check for a burial please.

The reason I think she dies about this time is William remarries in 1819.

Thanks

As William was 'of Stanwick' when they married perhaps that is where Sarah's burial will be found.

Where was the second marriage for William?

HI

William married in Bedford in 1819 to a Mary.  I also posted a similar message on the Bedford site as well.  We have decided that two William Litchfields got married at about the same time.

In the 41/51 census we have a William and Sarah Litchfield living in Raund and born in Raund.

Also in the 41/51/61 census we have a William and Mary Litchfield living in Bedford.  My William (Bedford) puts on his census return that he was born in Rushden in 1797, and I have found his bapt. in the Rushden PR.

Thanks for taking the time to look
