Im researching My family tree and have a Edward/Edwin Reese connected to it. He was born in Lydbury North Shropshire in 1847. He married a Elizabeth Blayney born in Kerry Montgomeryshire in 1847. I have found Edward in 1871 Wales census as Edward but have also found him as Edwin in 1881 Wales census.
I cannot find him in 1861 but have details of his family in 1851.
Mother Charlotte b.1820
Father John b. 1816
Brother John b.1842
Living in Lydbury North Shropshire

Yes i have Edwins mothers maiden name. Where did you find the details of 1861 census.? I was told by my sister that they live at Church Moor but up until now have not found it in any records to show this. I did not know that they had a daughter. Its funny how the name seems to change, Preece, Reece, Reese.
Also i have Edwin as Edward aswell. My father was named after Edwin so im guessing that is what he was known as.

Hello
Was the maiden name Parsons?
So the Address was Old Church Moor Cottage
I just put Lydbury Shropshire in the residence area of Ancestry and looked at the variations of the surname.
