I am unable to find George Sage born c1853 St George's Bloomsbury/St Giles, Middlesex in either 1871 or 1881. I have found a marriage in the Leeds district in 1884 which could put him there. I also believe I have his whereabouts in 1891 and 1901 (Holbeck and West Leeds).
Sometime after 1871 his family moved to the Burton in Lonsdale and Hunslet districts.
If he was a soldier where could I look to confirm his service or his whereabouts at the time of the census', please.
You've been chasing this one all over the boards, and several have replied already.
You yourself agree is that you need the marriage certificate; Ask again when you have more information to hand. Rootschatters, generous with their time as they are still get hacked off at repeated requests for the same information.
He is not to be found with the information you can provide at this time; the marriage certificate will provide more information, we can try again then.

When I obtain a copy of his marriage and birth certificate it will give me his address at the time, his father's name and mother's maiden name. It does not tell me, however, where he was or what he was doing in 1871 or 1881. Which is the question I posted.
I apologise if you are tired of my entries but I thought that was what it was all about. I am sure if somebody does not wish to help they won't.
I shall cease activity so as not to annoy anyone else.
