I am looking for information on a Henry Smith (bootmaker) who married Mary Ann Vallis on 10th Sept 1864 in the parish church of Walcot - I believe this was St Swithins and St Saviour. They had 5 children that I am aware of..... Harry(1865),Ada(1867), Alfred(1863), Selina(1876), Elizabeth(1878) and Alice (1880). In 1881 Census they were living at 22 Prospect Place, Walcot. Henry was born in Limply Stoke, Wilts abt 1840 the son of John Smith also a bootmaker. They seem to have remained in the Bath area for quite some time although their descendents moved to S. Wales. I would love to know where they were in 1871 Census if anyone can help?
