Hi Elizann,
A warm welcome to RootsChat! Do you have any dates, even approximate ones, for Mr Lowe?

Hello Elizann,
Like Nanny Jan I would also like to wish you a very warm welcome, is this the Mr Lowe you could be referring to?
1901 census: RG13/4906, folio 81, page 8
Westmorland, Patterdale
Joseph Lowe, h. single, 35, Landscape Photographer, b. Lancashire, Rusholme
Living alone and I'm sorry I can't quite make out the address - it appears to be something Bridge?
Kind regards,
Pels

Hopefully this isn't a coincidence and there are two of them - yours and this one!
1891 census: RG12/4327, folio 84, page 4
Westmorland, Patterdale Home Farm Shanty
Joseph Lowe, h, single, 25, Artist, Photographer, Landscape Painter, b. Lancashire, Rusholme
Again living alone.
Regards,
Pels

Elizann - that is beautiful - thankyou so very much! Joseph was obviously an extremely talented and gifted gentleman!
I'm not sure whether or not you might be interested - but from time to time there have been various threads here on RootsChat for people to share their postcards .. .. .. ..

If you would like to attach more, myself and others would love to see them!
Do you have any copies of his artwork that you could also share with us?

Any unusual ones would be of interest if you collect them - it would be nice if you could post a few of your favourites!
