James Marriott marriage lookup please

Could SKS find a marriage between James Marriott and Ann ? - possibly sometime around 1750?

According to  LDS member submitted entries,  this couple had children baptised in Spaldwick named Ann (1752), James (1754), Francis and Edward (1755).

I believe that the son named James is the one who later married Susanna Farey.  James and Susanna used the names MASON and BAKER as forenames for three of their children (Mason was used twice).

All help gratefully received.

Nothing on Hunts Marriage Index I'm afraid.

It's interesting that those member submissions didn't find a marriage either.

Thank you for looking, David.   Well, that's one county pretty much ruled out.  They don't seem to have married in Cambridgeshire either.   The baptisms have proper dates, so I suppose the LDS person was looking at Spaldwick records - but not further afield.

This is the only one on the BVRI but its a lot earlier than 1750.

Thanks for that, Carole.   It could well be the same family - but perhaps an earlier generation.  Great Stukeley isn't too far from Spaldwick, looking at the map.
