Are they brother & sister?
« on: Tuesday 18 September 07 22:30 BST (UK) »

Hi

I am trying to find the births of Sarah Glading c1777 in Ipswich and George Glading c1781 also Ipswich to try and ascertain whether they were related.

Sarah married at Ipswich St Matthew and George at Ipswich St Peter and Sarah was the witness at his wedding.  I have all the details required for the marriages but would very much like to find out who their father/s were.

Any help much appreciated.

Slightly off topic, but had to share this with you. I didn't know that same sex marriages took place in the 1700s, but found the following marriage on Boyds index.

Lidia GLADDING
Sus LUNDY

1779 - Ipswich St. Peter
