Warminster Stables
« on: Sunday 19 December 04 14:23 GMT (UK) »

I hope someone can help me. I have found out that before the 1881 were stables. This is where my hubby's great-grandfather lived after the 1881 census. Just wondering if anyone has any information on this or where i can find out about this on the net.

I live in australia so going to the library and historical societies are out of the question.

any help will be appreciated.

leagen,

Sorry, I'm confused  Undecided are there some words missing from your message? Are you asking for information on any stables in Warminster before 1881 or some particular stables??  If particular stables, then what was the address please?

sorry,

The address is 26 Bread street Warminster. I have found this on the 1881 census, according to the LDS. It doesn't say the name of the stables, it just says stable. I think by the 1891 census, he had moved into that particular number.

In 1881, Number 25 and Number 27 were occupied.

hope this helps
