Hi Lesley
Welcome to Rootschat.
I can not see your Fanny on the 1851 census as being at the Barracks.
There was not a cemetery at the Barracks.
I have looked at the images for burials but none in the village Church for that surname.
Do you have any further information that could help.

hi
Fanny's husband was James and she actually had three children - Charles, Emma (who died at seven months) and Caroline born in 1852, after whose birth she died of puerperal fever.
She was in Dorset with her family in 1851 at the time of the census and the death of Emma, and then presumably James was posted to Weedon where Fanny gave birth to Caroline.
Her family came from Otterbourne in Hampshire but I do not know if she was buried there or somewhere in Weedon.
I do not know what happened to Caroline after her mother's death. Charles, who was an illegitimate child, went to live with Fanny's parents and became my grandfather.
Is there anyone with any information about Fanny's place of burial or what happened to Caroline?
