Found Maggie McLean is she yours?
« on: Sunday 23 September 07 03:25 BST (UK) »

I have found a Maggie McLean born in 1856 in Scotland buried in a cemetery plot in Illinois that was paid for by a William McLean. She died in 1900. I am trying to find out if Maggie and William are a part of my McLean family. No other information is known about Maggie. No maiden name. William McLean born in Dumfries in 1849 may have married a Maggie and then immigrated to America.

I have been searching for my Alexander Fraser Thomson's grave in Scotland. It would mean a lot to me to find him. I know if someone is searching for Maggie it would mean a lot to them too to know where she is buried. I am hoping to find her family.
