Question regarding events on Gen. Programs
« on: Monday 20 December 04 07:57 GMT (UK) »

I have purchased a new Genealogy Program and have come across an event which is Sealing Child, does anyone know what it means? I have tried finding it in the help section of the proggy but can't find it.

I've never come across this Sealing Child before in other programs

Hi Shanko
The Mormans have a sealing of the dead ceremony and I assume the sealing for a child is similar ...a kind of baptism I think.
No doubt someone can correct me if I'm wrong

Shanko is correct - it is used where a child is adopted into a LDS Temple family.
