1841 census-HOBBINS

Looking for Dennis Hobbins born abt. 1812 in Ireland. Don't exatcly know where. In 1851 he was living in  Peterborough,Ontario,Canada with his two sons Patrick Joseph born  abt 1840 and Martin born abt 1843. In the 1911 Canadian cenus under his son Martin it says he came to Canada in 1850. His wife was Ellen Loughnane born 1831 Ireland her parents were  Patrick Loughnane and Margaret Hough. Now I'm not sure if Dennis was married to her in Ireland and she is the mother of Patrick and Martin as she is not in the 1851 census, or if he met her in Canada and married her here. any help greatly apppreciated...............Mich
