1871 census:

OSBORN, William b. c1811 Thurleigh, Bfd.
(We think his wife may be Ruth, b. c 1817 Riseley)

also,  1871 census

OSBORN, Thomas, b. 1850, Thurleigh
(in 1881 he was in Keysoe Road, Thurleigh - wife Charlotte)

Any further info. re these would be wonderful. Huh

On 1871 there is a Thomas ORSBORN, unmarried, age 20, born Thurleigh, working as a Navvy, lodging in Clifton Reynes, Bucks. With him is 18 yr old John Taler born Thurleigh.

William Osborn's wife was Ruth born 1807 Riseley on 1851 & 1861 censuses, on 1841 census their eldest son William is age 10.

On 1871 there is a William Osborn (transcribed as Asborn), age 62, born Thurleigh; Shoemaker, living at Church End Thurleigh, with wife Sophia, age 62 born Thurleigh.

There is a death index of a Ruth Osborn age 61 in Bedford RD vol 3b page 175  in Oct-Dec 1867 quarter

plus a marriage index in Bedford RD vol 3b page 727  in Oct-Dec 1868 containing William Osborn & Sophia Rowlins
