I am hoping to get up to york next week to look for Alne parish records 1700-1800. does anyone know if they are at Northallerton or Borthwick ?

Also is it easy to find entries

Hi Robert,

The parish records for Alne should be at the Borthwick (part of York University), they are on microfilm.

You will need to book a place so it is advisable to ring first here is the phone number,01904 321166.
