1861 census: RG 9/1738 70/19 Narrow Plain, Bristol St. Philip & St. Jacob Hester Cole, 49, Charwoman Hester, dau, 16, horsehair weaver Emely, dau, 14 Eliza, dau, 6 Jemima Richard, lodger, 26, Charwoman Mary Richard, lodger, 20, horsehair weaver (all b. Bristol)
Looking closer, I can't tell if Hester/Esther is meant to be 'widowed' here, it looks a little like the 'M' on the same page and nothing like the 'Wd' given for the man just above her.
The daughters missing are Eliza 1844 and Louisa 1850, I'm wondering if Eliza the 'dau' in 1861, is actually the illegitimate daughter of the older Eliza.
I think I may have located two of the daughters. Hester Coole married Jun 1868 Bristol possibly to William McCarthy. Emily Cole married 1872 in Manchester possibly to Samuel Worthington. In 1881, if you look at the LDS 1881 census you'll see Samuel Worthington, wife Emily aged 33 born Bristol, three children, and a widowed sister in law to Samuel, Hester McCarthy, also born Bristol, aged 36. (They're living in Gorton, Lancashire).

Thanks jorose,
The information you have sent is very exciting, I have been looking for George Coole for years, put several requests on this site (Gloucestershire) not must luck.
Did find a death for George Coole in 1856.
Another brick wall collapsed

Been looking closer. Looks like the older Eliza must of died, only 10 years between their ages.
Wander what Emily was doing in Manchester, in service?
