Norris/Godfrey Headington - Islip

Hiya Folks,
Is there anyone with access to the parishes of Headington and Islip please.

I've got stuck on Henry Norris and Jane Godfrey married 12 Feb 1755 Headington.
(from IGI batch M038503)
I'm trying to find their children, especially William Norris who married a Sarah ?

I have a marriage of Charles Norris 9widow) to Mary Beesley..1847.. father William Norris.

There is also the Norris family in Tingewick in 1841. They were born Islip. Then moved back to Islip.

ooo.. I hoped typing this out would help, but I'm even more confuddled now.   Shocked

This will confuddle you even more  Wink

the 1755 marriage for Henry Norris & Jane Godfrey,
I couldn't find it under Norris so looked for it under Godfrey and found:

MORRIS Henry of Forest Hill         (Morris not Norris)
GODFREY Jane

Is the William Norris (Norice) Wood eaton, son of Henry Norris (Morris)  Forest Hill?
oooo why can't they just keep the same spellings....

Sorry Lesanne,
the Marriage Index doesn't include fathers names, I also doubt  that the parish register marriages will either.

Unfortunately I don't have the prs for Headington or any of the parishes in that area  Sad
just hope sks who has them will spot this post.

Looked on the IGI for Headington for the children of Henry Norris
C038503

There is a nice gap between Thomas (s. Henery)1766 and
IGEN (d. Hearney & Igen)1770
where William bapt. 1768 Forest Hill could slot in.

Igen  Shocked, think that's Jane.....
don't you just love the spellings....oops sorry.....you don't.

That looks interesting Myfi.. Is Wood Eaton part of Headington?
Also at Wood Eaton but 100yrs or so earlier  is Henricus Norris s/o Rich Norris.

I still cannot find the Wood Eaton /Norice... maybe I'll post without any other info.
