« on: Wednesday 26 September 07 09:45 UTC (UK) »

Grin Hi everyone - Is anyone out there looking to research the HIRE family from Pembrokeshire. If so then I have absolutely tons of stuff on them as I am a direct descendant and am willing to share and trade information on what you may have !
If you are a serious HIRE researcher then why not get in touch !
Cant wait to hear from you.

 Grin Hi there `imstillstanding` !

Right then, yes I do have a Martha Hire but only have her down in my tree in the 1851 Census at this moment in time.
This particular Martha was born in 1849 in Freystrop, Pembrokeshire. Her father was James Hire b. 1806 Freystrop and her mother was Elizabeth Owen b. 1816 Llangwm, Pembrokeshire.
She also had four brothers and two sisters who were : James, Dorothy, William, John, Jane and Thomas.
If you think there is a link then please contact me on genfind and the the little `at` sign and then AOL and of course completing with a dot and a com where I will be able to provide you with much much more info on this family as I am directly descended and have been researching this family for several years.
Please let me know if you are related and we can share some stuff !

Hi - Thanks for getting back in touch. I can assure you however that further on up the line we will definitely have a connection as the Hire family in Pembrokeshire are all from the same `Stock` !
I have researched them for many years and even the HIER family are part of our HIRE family. I have found proof that the spelling changed due to probably an enumerator error !
Anyway if you would like to send me what you have anyway via e-mail I will do some searching fro you as I am also in posession of a few hire wills going back to the 1600`s and so you will never know what I have in my collection !
I have absolutely loads of stuff here and will not rule out the fact that you are connected until I can exhaust all avenues !
Hope to hear from you soon !

HI Anthony,

Would you have any info on Pheobe Hier, born c1801.

She married Richard Tasker (haven't found that marriage yet)

Grin Hello Wifeywebb...thanks for getting in touch.
Welcome to the family !!! You will definitely be connected so I can be reached on genfind and the the little at sign and then A then O then L befor ethe dot and the usual com
Anyway, yes Phoebe Hire did indeed marry Richard Tasker on 28th June 1834 in Lamphey, Pembrokeshire. They had 3 children that I know of but may have had more. The ones I have are Martha b 1835 St Michaels, Pembrokeshire, William b 1836 same place and Mary b 1840 also in St Michaels.
Phoebes parents were Philip Hire and Elizabeth Llewhellin and there were 6 other siblings all of which I have more information.
Get in touch privately to make it easier to share ! Please give me your full line back to Phoebe so that I may enter your info into my program and I will tell you how we are related  !!!!
Thanks and speak soon
