Mary Ann and Michael Pye - where did they go?
« on: Wednesday 26 September 07 23:11 UTC (UK) »

Hi

I have lost Mary Ann, b1835 in Ireland, and Michael b1868 at Cleator, Cumberland, England after the 1871 census.  USA has been checked, so I'm not sure if they went back to Ireland (Mary Ann was widowed in 1868) or if she decided to emigrate with her youngest son Michael.

Her daughter Ellen married and stayed in Cleator, and so did her son John.  But they are a mystery.  I can't find deaths for them, or a re-marriage for Mary-Ann

Any help appreciated

Rosemary
