Redruth Newspaper look up

I am looking for detils of the birth of a person born in Redruth Hospital in 1949. This person was very premature at birth and apparently there was some information written about her birth in the local press at the time. Can any one help?

I would try the Cornish Studies Library at Redruth. They hold all sorts of newspaper, (list on site)
