William Harrison Marriage COMPLETED WITH THANKS
« on: Sunday 30 September 07 20:52 BST (UK) »

I am looking for a possible marriage for William Harrison, Walsall, Staffordshire.
William was born in Stroud, Glos, in 1872, I have his birth certificate.
I know he is on the 1891 census, single, aged 19, living in Tantara St, Walsall, Staffordshire, with his mother Elizabeth and stepfather Richard Henry Pepworth.
I requested a birth certificate for 1896. I thought I had found a marriage on the FreeBMDs. My first request for a certificate from the GRO is not the correct William. I seem to be getting somewhat confused now. A visit to Walsall Archives is not possible at the moment, to cross check.
William Harrison is a brother ( unknown to the family, until recently ) to my grandfather, Herbert Henry Harrison. Thank you. Mick

Oh my goodness, Jackie, it never crossed my mind......if this is William, it's no wonder he is unknown to later family members. Thank you for your research. I will check this out......best wishes....and thanks again, Mick.

Today received the death certificate for William Harrison. You were spot on, Jackie. William died aged 19 years, from heart disease. He was, at that time still living in Tantara Street, Walsall.

Thank you Jackie, for your time, and observation, quite made my day. Best wishes Mick.
