Please could somebody help me to find the birth/baptism of Edward Ford born about 1823 in Deptford, Kent and also his marriage to Mary Ann (maiden name unknown) in about 1848. He was most likely born and married in the St. Nicholas area, but if not, St. Paul.
Your help would be very much appreciated.

As this is quite an old request, you may well have the information you require now but if not:
I couldn't see him on the IGI http://www.familysearch.org (batch numbers C009447 and C009448 for St Paul Deptford cover this time period). There is a lookup offer for the baptisms of St Nicholas, Deptford on the Kent Lookup Exchange http://members.tripod.com/~jo42/knt.html

There is this marriage:
13 Sep 1848 St Mary Rotherhithe
Edward FORD bachelor of full age labourer of Rotherhithe (John FORD labourer)
Mary Ann LLOYD spinster of full age of Rotherhithe (Samuel LLOYD baker)
Wit: William ARCHER, Charlotte (J?)AMESON
Perhaps the birth certificate for one of their children will confirm (or otherwise) Mary Ann's maiden name

Many thanks for that. I have obtained the marriage certificate in the meantime, however I am still at a loss as to Edward's parents as there were several John Ford's in Deptford at the time. If I could find Edward's birth entry, it would help.
