Marriage

I am trying to find the marriage between George Hughes (Hews) born 12/12/1813 and his wife Mary born abt 1815. (born in county 1841 census)
George was born in Great Gidding, I have found his baptism in the Great Gidding Baptism Registers transcribed by Patrick Ellis, but I cannot find any Marriage entry.
George And Mary are in the 1841 & George is only listed with the children in the 1851 census.
I have been told by a family member that Mary's last name is Plowman, but I haven't confirmed this.

No George Hughes/Hewes marriage in Hunts Marriage Index, (and no Mary Plowman either)
Perhaps they married in Northants - try a request on the Northants Look up request board for a look up in Northants Marriage index for a marriage c 1834
