OK I know it isn't the right resolution, but I don't have a functioning scanner any more, but could someone please give this lovely picture a little colour to bring them "nearer in time" to us
The little dark haired girl in this pic sadly died two weeks ago, and I want something nice and colourful to present to "the little blonde girl", when she arrives back from the funeral (in Canada) to cheer her up a little (if possible)
I understand that the dresses were pink, knitted by their mum I *think* the dark one had brown/hazel eyes, I know the blonde's are a clear but "wintery" green

or there is this one? which do you think? I think those dresses were pink too.. LOL Just noticed the hand-me-down shoes!

Hi Ludovica
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your Mum gets some comfort from our efforts.
Here is one from me, and a smaller one of the little one.
Please let me know if you would like any changes, it is no trouble
Kind regards

That is so sweet, Thank you Lones.
My Auntie was a very brave woman who faced up to a lot of personal tragedy in her life and never once shed a tear (Mum says) You can see what a sunshine she is right there, more or less around the outbreak opf WWII, that she was never planning to be defeated She would have really enjoyed looking at these pictures you have all been so kind to colour for me
