As I understand the position from your earlier threads, Mary Plowman married in Lutton, Northants, and in 1841 living in Stilton, Hunts she was shown as born in county (although this is often inaccurate), and her husband was a widower in 1851 where he and the children were all stated to be born in Gt Gidding Hunts (2 miles from Lutton across the fields and over the county boundary).
There's no baptism on the the BVRI in either Hunts or Northants
Odd though that I can't see a burial in Hunts of Mary Hughes 1841-51 - perhaps she was buried in Northants
As there's no central index in either Hunts or Northants for baptisms you need to know her parish of baptism to find the entry, a bit of a Catch-22 situation.
She doesn't appear in the trancript you have of Gt Gidding PR, so your next stop should be Lutton, where the BTs have been filmed by the LDS and are available for order and viewing at your nearest* Family History Centre of the LDS

Hi I have a Mary Plowman in my tree born 1816 in the Alwalton area, her parents were John Plowman b1789 and Elizabeth Welcher b1789. My Mary's siblings were; Robert 1813, John 1814, William 1817,Thomas 1820, George 1822,Richard 1826, Elizabeth1827, Ann 1827 and Samuel 1829. By 1817 the family had moved from Alwalton to Morbourne which isn't that far from Lutton.
Do these names ring any bells. Andrea.

Andrea,
I have looked at the Marriage details and Mary Plowman married George Hughes on the 13th Oct 1834 in the county of Northampton. The witnesses were a John Plowman and a John Kirkby (since John Kirkby's name appears a few times on other marriage entries, I think he may have been associated with the church). The John Plowman could well have been her father, I'm just not sure now where else to go with this to tie it all in.

In case it is of any use! Plowmans are buried next to my great grandfather in Napier New Zealand. The deaths would have been about 1925. I do not know the given names but if you had a couple of ancestors who might have drifted to Aotearoa you could check by writing to the Napier City Council and ask for details of Plowman burials about the end of 1925 at Park Island Cemetery! Sorry I cannot be more helpful! Cheers Marlene
