Elizabeth Maddox/Maddock/Maddoch  all 3 spellings given

  He's not jumping out in 1841 though

i have also tried searching for him on 1881 census and the nearest i can find is everything correct for him but her name is mary. it says they were travellers and i know there is a theory that there was travellers in the family. has anyone got any thoughts on whether these are the same people

  Living High St Stamford

 As he is established in the High St and employing 2 servants I do not think he was a traveller himself.

  1861 he now has 2 servants and a governess
   RG9/2312 F 93 P7

  1871 Looks like he now calls himself ...collecting traveller..
   RG10/3309 F 15 P 23

    1881  TRAVELLER COMMERCIAL Married to Mary as you say
   RG11/3191 F 62 P 23

 
  Looks like Betsey died... Betsy Wright b @ 1819 d 1874 Stamford
               John re-married John Wright to Mary Paradise 1876 q2 Stamford
                 John dies 1888    John Wright b @ 1818 d 1888 Stamford

  widow Mary in 1891 RG12/2552 F 47 P 12

 Mary Wright  hd widow 64 living on own means Lincs Stamford

  18 Rutland Terrace .

  Still there in 1901

   Thomas Paradise .....could not read his occupation in 1871.

  collecting traveller could be another name for commercial traveller buying /selling.

   Hi cannot see the marriage .Thomas is shown as un - unmarried right back to 1851...no wife around in 1841 either
