Adam Redpath, born 1760, and Margaret Elliot born 1758, were my 4xg.grandparents. I would love to hear from anyone who may be researching this family.
Other names in the tree are Pringle and Wood.

I'm not researching this family but I was in Lauder cemeterary earlier this year and took photographs of various stones.
Amongst them are 3 Redpath family stones.
They may be of interest to you.

William b1868 and wife
James b1873, wife and sons George and Thomas
Robert b1909, wife and son Adam Robert. (Robert married a Forrest which is the name I was researching, hence my reason for photographing the other Redpath stones).

In the pre 1855 M.I.'s of Lauder there is a Adam Redpath son of Adam Redpath, in Gairmuir 14.10.1806 4 yrs.  Adam Redpath 4.4.1831 71 yrs.  wife Margaret Elliot 10.12.1846 88yrs.
On Back.
Agnes Pringle dau. of George Pringle in Gairmuir 17.8.1808 in inf.

Have the pre 1855 book and one done in 2003 of Lauder if of any help.

Thanks to you both. I have the books you mentioned. Just hoping that someone else may be researching this family and able to fill in some of the missing pieces. Never satisfied!
