Can any one help me with George Cockerill Cook b1828.I think he married Jane Starling b1825 I really would like to know his father and mothers name All I have is that they lived at Tydd St Mary .

Dear Rowton
Have you tried using the Hugh Wallis batch numbers for Lincs.
Google for 'IGI Batch Lincolnshire'
Go into the site
Choose T for Tydd
You can then click on each list of baptisms, etc and search on the name 'Cook'
You will see Tydd comes up twice - once as Tydd St Mary and again as Tydd Saint Mary - I have spotted a few Cooks on it already- including the 1826 baptism above.
Hope this helps as the batch nos take you straight to the Parish in question on the IGI - but don't forget the IGI is incomplete.
