I visited the records office several times earlier in the year, trying to find William Hughes born Llechylched c1826. I found six possibles, the most likely born to a John & Margaret Hughes of Manaw Farm, Bodedern.
Does anyone have access to find out information futher back from this John Hughes, where he was born, fathers name etc:
The decendants of this family eventually moved to Penzance, Cornwall (via Bangor),where my dad married my mum.
Any info' would be gratefully received, Sheila xxx. Smiley

If it is any help John was born circa 1800, Margarets maiden name was Williams & her fathers name Thomas.
Can anyone help?

I realise above request was a long shot so getting back to basics I shall send for williams son's birth certificate first to get more basic info' therefore I am happy for you to remove this thread & I shall re-post with a slightly different question.
