Although I haven't found a marriage could Mary Ann Hoare be Mary Ann Baldock who Lydia was visiting in 1851???
Mary Ann is listed first as Housekeeper
James is listed as Lodger
in future census they seem to be married to each other

I think you are right. There is a marriage DecQ 1850 Clerkenwell of James Baldock and Mary Ann Hoare, I must have missed it. Well done picking it up.
Can you give me the latter censuses or the 1841 of Mary Ann Hoare . I am very excited that you picked that up.
