Are there any records of the servants working at Adderley Hall in 1900-1901 as I am trying to trace my Grandfather John Willie Millington who was a footman and married Frances in 1902

Thanks for that - I have sent for the marriage certificate and know that John Willie married Frances in London in 1902 but wondered if she (Frances Williams) was in service as well and how they met. I believe that she was adopted so Williams is probably not her birth name. I do not know why they went to London to be married - on the marriage certificate Frances was staying at 7 St Stephens Square and gives her father as James Williams(deceased) but I have also traced in the 1901 census a Frances Williams in service in Fenton Stoke on Trent who was born in Uttoxeter Staffs - I believe this to be my Grandmother because when I knew her she was living in Uttoxeter so it makes sense that she may have returned.
