I would like help in finding John O'Malley born c 1856 Ramsey Hunts. His father is Michael and born about 1820-35 perhaps in Ireland in view of the name!

John's birth reference appears to be registered under the name Maley or other soundex names and therefore the census may be listed under a similar name with the O' dropped.

As John is only aged 5 in the 1861, I am hoping that they are still in this area, and a look up would be most appreciated.

Thank you so much is that not a great find as although I never mentioned it John married in Manchester, Chorlton, and as far as I know he remained there with his wife and family and must have left Ramsey when he was a baby.

I am intrigued by Homer's name especially as there are two of them! and I will work to find out the origin. One of John's children is called Agnes too, so thank you again.
