No Stonehouses in Lythe itself in my 1992 phonebook for Whitby, just surrounding area, but don't have a current copy.

Mary Knaggs nee Ribee born 1830 Suffield died 1871 and her husband Thomas Knaggs died 1875.

1861 Innkeepers of the 'Red Lion', Lythe - 1871 'Ship Inn' Lythe.

I have the LENG surname in Lythe, and TAYLOR nearby in Sandsend. Not sure whether any of my SEDMANs would be there. Would appreciate any of these surnames that you could find!!!  Smiley
