Well you certainly picked a beautiful day for it!

Hope everyone is happy with the pictures you took. If not let me know and I can pop up some time and have another go.

Nice to meet the three of you and put faces to names. Let me know if you get a northern meet organised sometime.

(haven't changed much from my pic on here, have I?  Wink)

Hi Valry,

Sorry, I didn't find that stone although Nutty or Madpants may have, but here's another Knaggs I did find:

John son of Edward and Hannah Knaggs who died March 16  1843? aged 21
also the above Edward Knaggs who died August 18  18...?   also Hannah wife of the above who died November ?  1864? aged 72 years

sorry about the gaps, very faded.  If you pm me your email I will send you the photo

Hi Emma,

We've had a lovely day at Lythe, great fun.  Didn't get to Sandsend though.
Nutty and madpants have some other pics, but I have two Sedman and one Taylor gravestone pics for you, if you'd like to pm me your email address will send them to you. (preferably before midnight tonight, as I'm off to Scotland tomorrow for 2 weeks otherwise you'll have to wait til I get back!)
Meanwhile here are the inscriptions from those three stones:

To the memory of John Sedman who died the 26th of September 1823 aged 100 years
Elizabeth his wife who died 21st of July 1833 aged 81 years
Elizabeth their daughter who died --? October 1864 aged 81 years

To the memory of Mary wife of Zacharias Trattles and daughter of Elizabeth Sedman who died May the 6th 1847 aged 56

In loving memory of Jane Eliza wife of John Taylor of Kettleness who died November 28th 1881 aged 75 years
also the above John Taylor who died February 5th 1890 aged 80 years
Thy will be done
