 Smiley Hi, can anyone help me find out more about Henry Howlan[Holden], born about 1839 in Ireland, and came to Liverpool as a baby I think.  He had a son John Henry, surname Holden about 1865. Thanks, Rosanna J.

I cannot find them in 1871. However Thomas' birth is on FreeBMD in Dec (qtr) of 1869. If you order this you will get Margaret's maiden name and can proceed from there. You will also get an address that you can use in a 1871 look-up.

PS: Just seen Beenie's post with a birth date of April 1871 for Thomas. I could not find a birth on FreeBMD to match this. Maybe others will have better luck.
