GtAunt Kate McDEVITT 1892 Marriage, daughter of John McDevitt + Isabella Mary ARMSTRONG. Kate may have been born in  Calton Glasgow 1869/1870. Family to Ireland about 1877. One address is on  Cavendish Street

My GtGrdad John MCDEVITT died 1902 ? born 1846. Buried Belfast. An Uncle remembers seeing his name on a ? Memorial Cemetery wall in Belfast ?  County Derry Family. Name aslo used MCDADE/MCDEVETTE. John's father Edward MCD. His mother Elizabeth MCClusky/CLOSKY

Going through old posts and notice this one of yours. Is it the 1892 mariiage you're looking for here? If so, index to civil registrations is now online (free):

You can also search there for deaths.

There's a Katharine McDeviit m.1892 Co.Antrim to John ? - wonder if this is the marriage.

Civil marriage certificate lists fathers' names and occupations but not mothers.
