[i][/i]I am hoping someone can do a lookup for me on the Tolson family in Dewsbury, census and/or cemetery information. Matthew and Martha Shaw Tolson were married there in 1838, and his parents and their children were all from there...Thank you and Merry Christmas from Illinois, USA

Good site for you is www.familyhistoryonline.net . This may be your man in the name indexes. It is pay-per-view; although quite inexpensive.

Matthew TOLSON (with no variants) in Yorkshire W. Riding at any time (including surname indexes).

 :DI love the stories I find out about these family members-Matthew and Martha's first child was born 6 weeks after the wedding! Their grandson's wife would have had a tizzy had she known that!  Am going to check IGI now-I  hate to admit I had never heard of it until you replied! Merry Christmas from Illinois in the USA!
