For some time I've had problems with a particular CD - when it was new I popped it in the drawer and it opened up instantly and I could read it.
Now for some reason I'm getting error messages such as 'can't open a closed database' - or it will search then comes up with 'name not found' - I also get 'external error' messages.
Yesterday everything went to pot with a 'powerpoint found an error message'. In the end I did a system restore.
Is it a problem with this particular disk, it's a bit tired and I'm happy to buy a new one but don't want to if I get the same problems. Or is it something more serious?
