Jacob William Hall Yarmouth 1834
« on: Thursday 23 December 04 17:10 GMT (UK) »

Hi

i'm trying to find the family of Jacob William Hall of Yarmouth - Jacob was born in 1834, ended up living in Devonport.

Sorry it's so general, I have no further information to go on, but would appreciate any leads.

Thanks

Hi, Merry Christmas!

I looked through the 1851 census index for Norfolk and there were two Jacob Halls listed
sadly, they were born in Flixton or North Elmham, not Yarmouth.

Do you not have anything else?  Any trade?  (One of them was an apprentice Blacksmith.)

Have you found his will as they often mention family "back home".

Best of luck.

Hi thanks for that - I don't know how close those places are to Yarmouth - is is feasible that they'd fall inside it?
Jacob worked in the steamyards in Devonport as a boilermaker..but I've found his death, have ordered a certificate, and then maybe I can come back and ask with more information.

Thanks for your trouble Smiley
