glass bevellers

does anybody have any idea where glass bevelling would have being done in the later part of the 1800s
in birmingham, did they have an area for it like the jewelry quarter?my great grandfather,great aunt and grandmother were all glass bevellers as was my grandfather. i believe they may have all worked at the same factory.they seem to have lived around the hockley area.
