Hi ricky thats smashing and i forgot to say in my topic that i knew Martha was born Newport as i have her in 1881 census a vistior living in with a Machin family also i have her in 1901 as she married my William Hawke. The 1861 census should tell me the mothers name as i have found the marriage of Joseph Easter but there is three females so which one i don`t know. Hoping some one can find the 1861 census  Much Appreciated. Thank you. gladys

If its any help to you there is only one death in Monmouthshire about the right time is for a Jane Easter in 1870 Newport .
Joseph might have married Jane Wrighton as she was a servant born Brierley Hill in 1833, and living at kingswinford , Stourbridge district on the 1851
