Thanks for the replies.

Just tried again - still not working.

It's really frustrating - is there any way round it?

Thanks,

Bev. Sad

It's not working for me at the moment either and I don't recall that we found a solution previously Undecided

I would suggest limiting your search to certain boards (perhaps even one at a time as there are so many results) - a bit laborious perhaps but it might help.

Hi All,

Strange that - thought I might have done something wrong the first time - but it still works fine for me - and you can move from one page to another.

As per this photo.

Cheers

Keith

I'm also getting all the pages to come up as well and I can't recall ever having problems either with a global or limited search.

Is it a browser/settings thing or a glitch?

When I search Rootschat the first page displays OK, but when on click to go to page two, I get a message to say the page cannot be displayed.

Is it just me?

Well, I see I'm in good company.

It's only just become a problem.

I'm trying to run a search on Rootshcat for the word "curate"
I get 24 pages of hits since "curate" is part of the word "accurate"

How do I acheive the search I want without all the hits I don't want, is there a way???

Hi Louise

Unfortunately there isn't, at present, any way to prevent this.  All I can suggest is that you limit your search to particular boards ie. perhaps the occupations and common room boards if you are looking for general information on curates.

More than one page of search results
« Reply #39 on: Sunday 14 October 07 15:07 BST (UK) »

Trystan, I don't know how you did it, but since you've changed the search page, I can now move from page to page in the search results! I've never been able to do that before - it just kept reloading page 1 all the time.

THANK YOU!   Kiss

Thanks for your post bevbee. I'd that problem too.

I must give the search a test run. I always wanted to move from page to page.

I must be doing somthing wrong or misunderstood your message, bevbee.

I searched "Smyth" which gave me three pages to search but couldn't get further than page one.
