Looking for the date and ship that the Kammeyer family from Holland arrived. Ernest Kammeyer was born 1876 Amsterdam lived in Utah until his death 1955. Believe the Kammeyer family arrived about 1883. Also census for Ernest and wife 1900/10/20. Ernest wife called Minnie born England.
Thank you
Carol

Can't yet see them on 1910 census
1920 US census Ogden, Weber Cty, Utah Ernest 40, born Holland Minnie, 39, born England Lida, dtr, 17, born Utah Ernest, son 11, born Utah Rosie, dtr 9, born Utah On this census, Ernest and Minnie both claim to come to US in 1890, and were naturalized in 1899.
On WWI registration papers, Ernest gives his birthdate as May 28, 1876. He is a plumber at SP Shops, B&B Dept, in Odgen. Home address is 3900 Adams, Ogden, and person to contact is Mrs Marian M. Kammeyer, of the same address.

Valerie,
Thank you so much for a quick reply. Is there a site on which I can view the Registration Papers for Ernest? I would like a copy.
Thank you so much,
Best wishes

You can see the WWI Draft Registration Cards on Ancestry.com, but I believe a subscription is required to see those. If that's an issue, you could see if your local library has a subscription to Ancestry.

Hi I don't know if you've seen this, but Utah has some death certificates now on line. Some of your Kammeyers are listed.

Hi Valerie
I have seen this site, my direct family are Varney's who married into the Kammeyer family in Utah. In fact a distant relative today has sent me a couple of photos showing all the Varney children at their fathers funeral in 1929. It is fantasic to see your relatives some who where born in England and went to Utah in 1884. I'm so excited I had to share it with someone.
Thank you for remembering me, and thanks for your help.
Best wishes
Carol
