Hello, Wondering whether any body could give me information of the whereabouts of a William Robson. William was the son of John Robson (born 1849 in Sunderland) and his wife, Elizabeth (nee Aslett), born 1851 in Seaham. The family had three other children: Margaret born 1871 in Southwick Elizabeth Jane born 1873 in Southwick Sarah Aslett born 1879 in Southwick. William himself had been born in Southwick in 1875.
By 1891 the family had moved to Seaham and were living in South Terrace. John, who had worked as a bottlemaker, now ran his own grocery business. All the children except Margaret, who was working in other household, are living with there. By 1901, Margaret and Elizabeth have both married and Sarah is staying with Elizabeth in Sunderland prior to her own marriage. John Robson and his wife, Elizabeth, are still living in South Terrace but there is no sign of William.
Can anybody find him on the 1901 census. As he was only 16 on the 1891 census and didnt yet have an occupation I have no idea of what he may of done! The other three children though have returned to Sunderland.
Any help please!
Sue
