Hello

I tried everything to find my ancestor John Pearson Luker born 1839 in Abingdon, Berks.

He married to Sarah Shepherd in 1860 but Sarah lived with John's grandparents Joseph and Elizabeth and John's brother Joseph in Abingdon in 1861.

Please note John appeared in 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 and 1851 and 1841.

Father Joseph LUKER
Mother Hannah PAYTON

On Free BMD this record is 1st Quarter 1838 Vol 6 Page 117

John Luker age 19 farm labourer at Radley, Abingdon

he is a boarder  and unmarried but maybe they didn't know if he was a casual worker.
