Hi
Would love anyone with Raine ancestors to get in touch.  Especially orginating from the Lythe, Sandsend area, or even perhaps as far away as Gargrave.
My ggg grandfather was:
William Raine born 1811 - Gargrave area married Hannah Thompson from Hinderwell in 1840.
Children:
Richard born 1841 (my gg grandfather)
Edward born 1843
Charles born 1844
Thomas born 1846
Jane born 1847
Jane Ann born 1848
Hannah born 1850
Elizabeth born 1851
Henry born 1854

Jane, Jane Ann and Hannah did not reach their first birthdays.

Would love to hear from anyone connected to this family,
