Hi
This is a really huge long shot but I'm keeping everything crossed
I am trying to find the baptism records of my gr x 5 grandmother whose name was Ann Novell (or Novall).
She would have been born c1770. I know she married in Ealing, Middlesex and died in Kingston in 1815.
I have been unable to find her in the Kingston Parish records and wondered whether anyone had access to any records for nearby Surrey parishes.
I had hoped she would be easy to find as her surname is slightly unusual but she has remained elusive for some time now.
Any help would be very gratefully received.

Have you checked to see if she was a spinster or widow at marriage in Ealing?
It is possible she had previously married so you are looking for her under the wrong name.

Hi Ashley
Thanks for your reply.
According to the parish records for Ealing she was a spinster when she married, so no chance of find her under another name unfortunately.

Hi there - I have Novell's in my tree based in Farnham a,d Ann is a common name amongst them - I haven't one born in 1870 specifically, but it might be a good place to start.

Hi Lewy
Thanks for your reply,
I believe Novell is a reasonably uncommon name so hopefully I will find her eventually. Thanks for the info - I will see whether I can find any trace in Farnham - Geographically its certainly a possibility
Thanks again
