A McPoland by name but a Downing by heart!

I am trying to trace Isabella's Mother - Mary who was born in 1865 in Allithwarte, Lancs and married Charles Jones (b. 1865). Anything you can tell me would be a real help.

Hi,
I ordered Isabella Joneses Birth cert and her Mother is indeed Mary ATKINSON!
As i have no access to census info etc i wondered if anyone could do a trace on her and her family? I know she was born c1865, either in Allithwaite, Lancs or Westmorland (?) and married Charles William Jones (b. 1865) in Kendal in Sept 1884.
Sorry i haven't got a lot for you to go on.
I would appreciate any help with more information.

Good news! 
I see 1891 says Allithwaite and 1901 gives Upper Allithwaite for Mary's birth. How about this one?
(genuki tells me CARTMEL-FELL, a township-chapelry in Cartmel parish, Lancashire and ALLITHWAITE, two townships and a chapelry in Cartmel parish, Lancashire)
