A McPoland by name but a Downing by heart!

I am trying to find more details about Edwards Wife and Parents.
His Wife was called Ann and she was born in 1829 in Sedbergh. They married on 11 Aug 1850.
I don't have any details at all on Edwards Father , but i know his
Mother was also named Ann and she was born in 1799 in Kendal.
Edward had the following siblings: William b. 1825, John b. 1840 and Agnes b. 1842.
The 1841 census shows that Edward is visiting another houshold so i cannot get a trace on his family.
Any help would be great. Thanks, Erica.

Hi
Edward Phillipsons was baptised 24th February 1824 at Longsleddale, Westmorland, England, his father was John Phillipson and his mother Ann.I believe John and Ann Kellet married on the 3rd November 1823 in Kendal.
