Hi Kath

If and when you have the time would it be possible to search your records for any information on the Eddes and Newny families.  I know that my great (x7)grandmother Mary Newny was born in Great Waltham in about 1690 and married Joseph Eddes around 1715. They had a daughter Mary Eddes who married Simon Collard and thanks to one of your earlier postings I have already been able to fill in some blanks about him.

Thanks so much for sharing all of your information and the generosity of your time.

I've just got back from the airport, having spent a few very wet days in Sweden,  I put the kettle on, dumped my unopened suitcase and went straight on the computer to see if you had been able to find anything.

No-one warned me that once you start delving into your family history you become completely hooked and that there is no cure for this addiction.
But hey who cares,  I love it.  Grin
