St Mary the Virgin Church, Gt Warley (Brentwood) Marriages/Births
« on: Sunday 26 December 04 20:07 UTC (UK) »

Dear All

Do we know if St Mary the Virgin Church, stated as being at Gt Warley (Brentwood) have had the records transcribed for Births and Marriages ? and has anyone got ?

Looking for all Pasterfield's born/married and relatives in attendance and mentioned !

Frances gave me the NBI records for the Church and the nine Pasterfield's buried within from 1750 to 1842 and one in 1868 which states St Mary the Virgin, Shenfield.

Best Wishes

Hallo Bryant:
If you log on to the Essex Record Office website at       http://seax.essexcc.go.uk  you can search as a guest for the info you want. Eg. if you type into the search box (as I just did) 'Parish registers Warley' you will get a number of hits including the info you want. Click on each hit and you may get more info. If you wish you can do a similar search for each place name you are interested in.
Incidentally St Mary's Shenfield is a different church to St Mary's Warley. They are a couple of miles apart and the latter has marvellous mother-of-pearl decoration inside.
